New international degree programmes in Chemistry, Law, and Artificial Intelligence launched at ELTE
You said, we listened. We have received many inquiries about degree programmes in chemistry, law, and artificial intelligence. In response, ELTE is launching three new programmes in English for international students to meet emerging global needs and academic trends.
Chemistry BSc
The new Chemistry BSc provides a comprehensive foundation in modern chemistry through a combination of theoretical courses and extensive laboratory practice. Students develop key competencies in analytical, inorganic, organic, and physical chemistry guided by leading expert in the field. The programme prepares graduates for scientific careers in pharmaceutical research, materials science, environmental protection, laboratory analysis, and more, or for continuation in advanced degree programmes.
Law, Politics and Economics MA
This interdisciplinary Master’s programme in Law integrates international law, political science, and global economics helping students understand today’s complex policy challenges through a broad, analytical lens. Graduates will be well prepared for careers in international organisations, diplomacy, public policy, and related fields.
Artificial Intelligence MSc – Newly Offered as an Independent Programme
The Artificial Intelligence MSc, previously available only as a specialization, is now a stand‑alone English‑taught master’s degree. It offers a focused curriculum covering the core areas of modern artificial intelligence, including machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision. The four‑semester (120 ECTS) programme maintains a strong practical orientation, supported by industry collaborations and a mandatory professional internship.
